really enjoying running through problems on Codewars. been pretty useful to me for building confidence with javascript and java even though i've been coding java for like 3 years.

Heard randomly from a recruiter at Amazon about an interview event for AWS team. (I never hear from like real recruiters at Fortune 100 companies.) They sent me a list of things to prepare for pre-interview test screening. Holy fuck, this company is a cult.

yeah i interviewed for amazon right out of college and it freaked me the hell out

there was this like 'work simulation' exercise I had to do which was basically this fake e-mail/calendar interface where you got messages from fake coworkers asking you to work on different things/deal with problems, and you were given pre-written multiple choice answers to respond to them. the options were always like, 'do the thing you're currently working on first then figure out the new problem', 'try to delegate this problem to another person/team', and 'take this problem on yourself and work a little longer/harder to get this and everything else you previously had to do done on time' and were written in such a way that the last variant was always the obvious 'correct' choice

Python is pretty easy. I think I just learned using a Pluralsight course the company I was working for at the time gave me.

Do you already know other languages?
