Melatonin isn't even working for me half the time now. It either won't knock me out or it does right away but then I wake up at 3 and can't get back to sleep for 3 hours.

I had the night off so as soon as I got home from my day job I set my alarm for 8 to get an hour-long nap in. Turns out that instead of setting it for 8pm I accidentally set it to 8am and I slept for 6 hours. So I suppose I've guaranteed that I'll be exhausted when I leave my night job at midnight tomorrow because there's no way I'm going back to bed before my day job.

haha its 4am and i have an important gig tomorrow i've barely started making playlists for and i forgot to eat dinner and i left it too late to go to the pharmacy to get my night meds/anti-ds so i should prolly knock myself out with valium but that sure isnt gonna make waking up tomorrow much easier ackckkcckkc

i ran out of my sleep/depression meds last night so didnt take them

i just read like 3 months worth of jeph jacques strips

i was meant to spend all day working on music stuff for a thing tonight but now i'm gonna sleep it away probably

i asked my girlfriend to call me at 1pm and be stern with me to wake up

i justify low-sleep nights now by telling myself when i used to drink it wasn't uncommon for me to be out (or drinking at home alone, whatever) til last call the night before i had work. so if i could do that and more or less function the next day then falling asleep sober and well hydrated at 3am is nothing.
