no refueling? won't that eliminate a lot of the strategy?

Well, the different tire compounds are still in, so teams will have to figure out what tires work best for them and how long they can run them, etc. And the new thing where the top 10 have to start on their quali tires is basically v2.0 of the top 10 starting with qualifying fuel, so...

the new ferrari looks so-so, nothing to write home about aero-wise, don't get me wrong. it looks nice. clean lines, back to basic aero.
the new mclaren looks pretty fucking hot. looks like lots of innovative aero work. we'll see.

Ferrari always unveils a pretty clean-sheet car. It'll probably look a bit different come Bahrain. Did they ban wheel covers this year? It's odd seeing the cars without them. Also, interesting how in the absence of all the winglets the teams are reverting to early 00's design with high and flat noses, high sidepods, etc.

I hope McLaren can get back in form this year. Still wondering why they feel the need to have two "#1" drivers though. Button will probably be driven nuts and leave by the end of the year.

because cars going a circle just doesn't do it for me. i sometimes will watch an indycar street race, but the oval tracks put me to sleep.

That was '05. I was at the one where Ralf Schumacher got injured and Zsolt Baumgartner managed to score points.

i just looked up the results from the 2005 US race. i forgot that the two other teams besides ferrari still finished 1 and 2 laps down in a 6 car race.

hell, the 2004 US race wasn't much better. didn't only 8 or 9 people make it to the finish? the Indy track seemed to have a higher than average attrition rate.

they're up to what? forty races a season, and maybe two are held on road courses? yeah, no thanks.

i have to take the bait here because my contempt for nascar is so pure and unyielding.

Oval racing is cool, I just don't know why anyone would get excited about Nascar when Indycars run the ovals so much faster.

the thing nico does best is disappoint. hopefully, schumacher can whip him into shape.

speaking of which, i am so excited to have schumacher back. we should be in for some great racing this year.
