i'll say this about me3's ending: it manages some grace through it all, but if they were going for contradiction as uncertain revelation - that impossible, bittersweet resolve you find in exceptional paradox - then they didn't plan or follow through well enough. any thematic undercurrent sought in those final moments lies strewn across the universe in a thousand pieces

I met up with my friend who is way more obsessed with this franchise than i am last night and he told me about this. He even downloaded all of the .pdf files.

He told me about all the indoctrination theories and the plot holes in the franchise and how they might release DLC which would take place after the game etc.

Just finished. Yikes. I feel like there's different stuff to hate about for different groups of people who play these games. I laughed pretty hard at the final "choice" being set up as a gigantic representation of the decision wheel. Seriously? Glad they got in a few more "press w for three minutes while Shepard moves ridiculously slow" scenes though.

The geth/quarians section of this game was at least somewhat interesting. Otherwise, mehhhhhhhhhh.

Ending isn't as bad as I was expecting from the outcry. To be honest, I thought it would be something ridiculous like Shepherd was actually half-Reaper after being rebuilt by Cerberus or some shit.

I agree with number 1, I feel the reason I enjoyed the first 2 is because I enjoyed how I played as Shepard (regardless of how wooden he was in conversations) throughout and then the ending really didn't give me a choice that came close to fitting the Shepard I was playing, it's like BioWare's ego took over and they made shit sure the game ended on their terms, oh well
I am cruising through it on insanity as a level 58 vanguard the second time around just to say I did it

the a-side tune is probably better (pretty happy with the last half of the track) but the bside is what is supposed to be in the game..

I am pretty sure this is the most (and only) actual emotional investment I'm going to feel in this game. I'm not very happy about that.
