though you could've already done that to revert post dates back to 2012 idk

some dates are definitely still fucked cause a lot of 'last visited' date on profile pages are still 2016

just my guess: people that it still works for didn't do any searches while the date was 2016. people who did searches have a 2016 date stored in the database so when the board checks to see when was the last time you did a search, it sees that it's not past whatever minimum time is required since the last time you searched and you get the "Sorry but you cannot use search at this time. Please try again in a few minutes." message. should fix itself in 2016 if Nathan doesn't get around to it first.

maybe disable/flush query cache? again i'm sure you've done this stuff but i feel like proposing possible steps to fixing search is a more productive use of this thread than just echoing that search is broken and asking when it'll be fixed. if we know what you've tried maybe we can crowdsource The Fix or at least save you some time or somethin

when I go into the user control panel, it's still showing my last visit as Fri Mar 18, 2016 4:04 pm

45 altogether.

However, they only have 2016 dates on the free-for-all page/index/whatever it's called, once you actually click the thread it shows as a regular 2012 date.

yeah, I don't think any of that is the problem but who knows

I really think the issue is that the board still has 2016 dates stored for the last time people searched and now it's not going to let us search again until a minute after that or whatever
