I just hit 60, about to finish act3 hell. Spent the last 2 hours reading wizard strategy. Looks like my one and only option for inferno (until I get massive gear) is kiting and slowing, dropping hydras. Something that I have refused to do so far, and don't need to do yet, but I guess I guess I should start getting the hang of now before every monster on the screen has the ability to one-shot me.

I still can't do shit in A2 Inferno. Clearly should just try and sell my IAS gear now, right? >_>

I've been playing about an hour a day, halfway through hell and creeping slowly towards level 60, but I'm not really sure how this ends. The simplicity and mindlessness is appealing, but also uncomfortably hollow.

this is exactly me (think I'm lvl 53 now) and I can't really see myself spending my summer farming gold and/or playing the AH for hours trying to get slightly better stats. I've really had a blast with this game so far though so I think leveling up all the different classes to 60 is more my speed. I already made a barbarian named Tebor that I was just dumping items onto but will probably end up switching to once I get to 60 on my witch doctor and maybe play a little inferno.

at least they did up the drop rate on good loot in late Hell and all of inferno

and they made the prices for combining gems more reasonable

High-end items (items level 61-63) will now drop in all Acts of Inferno and Acts III and IV of Hell difficulty

huge change for what's going to be available in the auction house.

and those barb changes actually directly fuck with a 'reflect all the god damn one shots' build i was considering for inferno so shit :/

edit:
Magic Find will no longer be considered when looting objects in the environment such as chests, barrels, vases, pots, and corpses
Unique monsters in Hell and Inferno difficulty are no longer guaranteed to drop two Magic items when slain
Weapon racks will no longer drop weapons 100% of the time
Destructible objects no longer have a chance to drop items, and will only have a small chance to drop gold when destroyed

well fuck, nevermind the new high-end item drop changes.
