i'm guessing they're too weak and she doesn't want to risk having them taken/getting killed for them. i hated that line in the season premiere where she doesn't know what kind of meat they eat. obviously just kill someone already and let them feast.

In which case, stop fucking telling people you have dragons. Like, everyone in the land should be coming by to kill this chick and her emaciated herd to walk off with her pets.

But she tells the Qarthians that they aren't grown. And it's fairly clear exactly where they are in the caravan if they exist.

Maybe the dragons are almost dead from malnutrition, and she's afraid that she'll lose support if anybody finds out, so she wants to nurse them back to health first.

I didn't realize Vaes Dothrak was so far east. The title sequence makes it seem like it's just across the Narrow Sea.
