Yeah Qarth isn't night bus, it just seems to be laid back, eco-conscious, informal, off the cuff, good music, no bullshit Image

I think this episode was so good because it didn't visit the three most boring storylines

the arbor, summer islands = chillwave
harenhall, dreadfort = witchhouse
pentos = convertible to yokohama
nightfort, dragonstone = nightbus
I reduced the temples of Elam to naught; their gods and goddesses I scattered to the winds. The tombs of their ancient and recent kings I devastated, I exposed to the sun, and I carried away their bones toward the land of Ashur.

i'm guessing they're too weak and she doesn't want to risk having them taken/getting killed for them. i hated that line in the season premiere where she doesn't know what kind of meat they eat. obviously just kill someone already and let them feast.

In which case, stop fucking telling people you have dragons. Like, everyone in the land should be coming by to kill this chick and her emaciated herd to walk off with her pets.

But she tells the Qarthians that they aren't grown. And it's fairly clear exactly where they are in the caravan if they exist.

Maybe the dragons are almost dead from malnutrition, and she's afraid that she'll lose support if anybody finds out, so she wants to nurse them back to health first.

She doesn't show them the dragons because she thinks of them as her children and, like a protective mother, she'd like to keep them as far from these creepy weirdos as possible.

While looking for a more detailed map of Westeros, I came across this, which is pretty interesting, even if some of it is speculative.

Image

At that size it's pretty useless, so you can get the full size here: http://www.sermountaingoat.co.uk/map/index.php
or a direct link (recommend Right Click, Save As, since it's a 5mb file): http://www.sermountaingoat.co.uk/map/versions/speculative_map.jpg

Be aware that there could be some very minor spoilers if you read the text in the upper right, but after I read it, I didn't feel spoiled, and I'm usually pretty anal about stuff like that.
edit: OK, maybe a little spoiled. Don't read the last two paragraphs in the upper right if you want to avoid spoilers.

I didn't realize Vaes Dothrak was so far east. The title sequence makes it seem like it's just across the Narrow Sea.
