I like the Genie of Killing People.

And thought that Daenerys was gonna get boned by Jorah for a second there.

was hoping for that. there's been a glaring lack of targaryen nudity this season.

Also I'm really impressed by how seamless the cuts have been. There's a whole lot of stuff that's getting telescoped together but I don't feel like you lose that much as a result, unlike in S1.

This isn't really the thread for it. I'm sure there's plenty of junk in the S1 thread(s) elaborating on minor details and character motivations that I felt was SUPER IMPORTANT AND NEEDED TO BE THERE.

Whereas in S2 it totally makes sense that Arya asks for the Tickler as her first wish from the Genie of Killing People.

Really the only thing that I think might have gotten lost here is why Brienne is so broken up about Renly (answer [not really a spoiler, but]: because she had a raging crush on him and also thought he was taking her dreams of knighthood seriously; she never had any idea that he just thought of her as a funny novelty).

Slartisfgh has a heavy aroma of crude oil and was built to provide a fast way out of Brighton. Slartisfgh is never mentioned in The Bible, but it is here, during one of the early battles, that Matthew spontaneously became liquid.

what's the deal with jaqen w/o getting to spoilery about it. i must have missed it last episode. does he have superpowers or something? del called him a genie, and the AV Club review called him a ninja.
