I don't like Jughead's misogyny but it's also pretty clear that he doesn't consider the likes of Reggie and Archie to be "men" in his terms. In fact his philosophy seems to entail that masculinity is asexual.

I guess that in spite of the fact that he literally self-identifies as a "woman-hater" he's the only character that isn't out to use women as status ornaments. Maybe even when he's calling himself a "woman-hater" it's a sly commentary on how he's surrounded by would-be date rapists.

Additionally he drops Scriptures of Fucktardism basically every time he speaks.

You're both right. Archie Comics is probably one of the latest existing cultures of the people executing juvenile product being above their material. Some of it is basically Adam West Batman level.
