it doesn't suck if you live in melbourne, yeah

but sydney kinda sucks too

mostly it's like. this would be a really great place to be if it wasn't so fuccen far away from the the rest of the world and thus so expensive to go places

alcohol is too expensive here I say
although I'm sure autastic could explain how bars are barely breaking even on drink sales or something

the distance really gets me down especially when people living in europe pop up on facebook about how they're visiting turkey for the weekend. although we have southeast asia. but australia as a country is way too fuckin' expensive and spread out if you wanna see natural landscapey stuff as a tourist IMO - I've seen more of places overseas than my own country. I laugh when british backpackers come here and have this idea they'll see melbs/adelaide/perth/cairns/whatever all in the same road trip when they're probably never driven more than 3 hours at a time.

if you cunts are doing ghetto drinks before new guernica I'm up for it tho

Australia is the world's happiest nation, beating Norway and US, based on criteria including income, jobs, housing and health compiled by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development.

though if you wanna take it out on the town don't forget an extra 15c for the bag to wrap it up
won't get hassled by the cops either

idk why everyone doesn't just drink wine

spirits wipe me out and are expensive and the hangovers are rapists

beer takes too long, only ever end up just buzzed

wine is cheap as fuck

lived all of last year on like a cask every 1-2 days which is pretty good if you want to be an alcoholic

if i drink wine i'll just pick up some bullshit for $10 and live life you know

when my mum kicked me out i was walking into a liquor store to get a bottle at midday holding a garbage bag full of my things and the guy is like hey how's it going and i'm like NOT THAT GREAT ACTUALLY I'M CARRYING A GARBAGE BAG FULL OF MY POSSESSIONS AND BUYING A BOTTLE OF WINE FOR $10 AT MIDDAY TAKE A WILD SWINGING GUESS

s'alright

It's Just Australia

my ex and i took acid together and he drank a whole bottle of dimple at the same time and then he got angry and wanted to throw the empty scotch bottle at a duck and i told him he probably shouldn't because it would end up like the scene in about a boy and make me really sad so then we walked home and we stole an enormous crate of bread from outside a cafe and then it got to like 8am and I wanted to return it but i was scared the cafe people would yell at me

alright pretty good

but before throwing that bottle

i was drinking it under a tree

and i'm the type to be like HEY FELLAS HOW'S IT GOING when i'm getting drunk and some dudes walked past and i did it and

they didn't respond

they just looked at me in my dismal state

and i think they felt something like pity

this isn't even really a story

yeah some time, gotta get some $$$ together i mean i probably already have enough but i don't want to be broke because i've got to move AGAIN soon

like my ticket was already paid for with frequent flyer miles because my dad used to do fly in fly out but then it got cancelled for some reason anyway

got to fucking organise another place to live here too

today was a weird day though and i'm like

idk what i'm gonna do from here just Keep On Truckin' i guess

fucking stupid phrase but you know what i mean

probably in the coming days i'm going to have some weird ideas about what it means to live normally and not be a fucking idiot

guess this is an appropriate thread to mention that i just got my oz migration visa yesterday. moving out on aug 4. would prefer to live in melbourne but it looks like it will most likely be sydney since there seems to be more media jobs there.

maybe i can grab a beer with a few boarders sometime? some sf boarders can vouch for my alrightness.
