Weber performed in GG Allin's final backing band The Murder Junkies, playing the electric guitar... Following GG's untimely death, Weber performed in a continuation of the Murder Junkies
Me, I'm fine because the Bordeaux fun fair is setting up and I find the fairground people. Welcome in my world:

anyone have any idea what happened here?
I can't believe I remember this, but I think Tom said some mean things about the music critic Jim DeRogatis (maybe including mocking his appearance or weight or something)? I think he later gave some sort of apology or said he regretted it...
It's certainly bizarre what sticks in ones mind after so many years. But yeah, that makes sense. He talks further about DeRogatis in the "b" episode from that night.

i meant curate in the sense that he had you take down an episode, not that he helped you build the archive.
I was responding to this

Aha. No, that's from the WFMU page, not Mega. That episode doesn't exist anywhere (maybe Tom has a copy... maybe). It was taken down pretty quickly and none of the Best Show obsessives I'm in touch with have a copy.
joeylevels, what was the deal with captain jack having fish(?) delivered in a cooler to fmu? I remember tom getting really freaked out about it and cj being banned from the show thereafter, but i never really understood the context, or why he got so upset
joeylevels wrote:3/30/04 very wild captain jack call at the end of the show with Tom escalating the insanity by pretending to be another caller talking over Jack.

That’s as much as I know right now. One of the reasons I’m doing the full chronological archive listen is to go through the process of getting to stuff like this and see how it pops up. I wasn’t a listener during the time of Captain Jack.
