Best Show on WFMU

Hodgman still talks to Tompkins on Twitter, as does Aimee Mann, who Tom still seems to be on good terms with.

they're probably neutral as this likely has nothing to do with them. must be weird.

Episode from a couple of weeks ago with Terry from Woodstock and "What if the person took off the helmet, and it was a woman?" was a solid A+.

no one knows the specifics, but it seems pretty clear it had something to do with their failed tv project for comedy central ("evil genius")

Incredible episode this week
I literally cried laughing at
1.The Leon Redbone theme for Staten Island Garbage Rats
2. Garrison Keillor renditions of Doors songs
3. "Bad Company-ing" callers to get rid of them

Perhaps one of the greatest calls in the show's history.

whenever tom's away and julie klausner and mike are hosting, i feel like julie is just being the annoying person she is and mike's just sitting there awkwardly sighing, enduring her and dying to just get the hell out of there.

Anybody remember which episode has Tom and PFT discussing Graceland? It starts off with them talking about Elvis' variety shows, Elvis saying "The Bears" in regards to rock music, and then Tom's tour of Graceland.

I would like to play it on a car trip tomorrow AND I CAN'T FIND IT.

I swear I just listened to this one like a month or two ago. I distinctly remember that "The Bears" comment. But scanning though the early 2007 episodes I had been listening to I still can't find it. Now I'm really curious to see if someone else can find it because it was a very funny call.

12/28/2010 is the episode.

I'm trying to do an audio rip of it right now but with an unstable connection and an audio hijacker thing that cuts out after 10 minutes, it's been more than difficult. I've actually been spending wayyyy too much of my day on this.

I got .mp3s of basically every episode, lemme load that one up real quick and edit it in this post. I'm surprised that it was from late 2010 which means its been since that date since I listened to it. I guess Best Show stuff just sticks in my brain better than most things.
