Flying out to Austria with my gf next month and thinking of arriving a day or two early as she always says she’s never really ‘done’ the touristy London stuff. What are some good base areas and some essential cheap things to do/see? Some nice free museums etc. Sorry I feel like I’ve made this post before at least once.

Did anyone apply for Hyde Park England game tickets? Doesn't look like I got any.
Anyone going to see why? Perform alopecia in full in September (lol)?

I tried but the 'register' button didn't work and then last night the form didn't even show up.
Brixton Village has a big screen outside anyway so just going there

It's my girlfriend's birthday tomorrow so she got about ten people to apply separately for Hyde Park tickets with the idea that we could turn it into a little birthday party, and no one got anything. Must have been a lot of interest.
The Paddington Basin has been my favourite place to watch shit on big screens this summer

I got an email today from DEBIT FINANCE COLLECTIONS and had a big anxiety spike and then it's just about a magazine I had subscribed to. Jesus Christ

Ew will that really be a problem for my credit? It's a subscription to the TLS which should make creditors know I'm middle class!!

Yes it will effect your credit, no matter how small it is.
By the way Kenny, you should get Pressreader, if you are member of Hackney/Southwark library it gives you unlimited free access to several newspapers (including Washington Post, Guardian, Indepedent) and magazines.
It's pretty amazing.

Oh, I mean the e-mail was literally just to say that the direct debit I had set up was starting.
Like everything's fine. I just mean that they shouldn't have a name like Finance Collections for a subscription to a newspaper that you have paid for.
I'm part of Tower Hamlets library (and the City of London library!) but I get The Times, FT, and Nexis.com subscriptions through work

At my last job they also kept TLS copies (like 30 each issue) in the lobby so I would just take one each week.

Anyone else just have their flat shaken up by Trump's Ospreys? Thought they were going to crack a window here in Finsbury Park, plus two car alarms kept going off in my street from the vibration and the local birds were freaking out.
It is mating season for the pterosaurs, and this well-endowed male wants YOU to fly with him.

It sucks because I've a) wanted to go to Cafe Oto for a long time and b) I've legit been looking for when Acid Mothers Temple were playing in London.
