did we have a british tv show thread recently?

Has anyone got this to stick in the Dropbox? Hearing very good things, especially about Grant, hot on the streak of his Paddington 2 comeback.

So this was amazing. Thanks for the recommendation!

Also watched the shadow line which wasn't as good but I am a huge stephen rea fan. Upon rewatch, my favorite character in the V for Vendetta film.

Just went searching for it before I realised it aired here last year.

I watched it. It was decent, nothing amazing. The joke it was built around kinda wore out pretty quickly.

I've just found this because it showed up on Netflix and I've been watching it in bed at night.

Total balm, I love it.

How so?

Definitely different to series one but perfectly linear storytelling, apart from the last episode. There's obviously stuff to be resolved, I'm anticipating a third series and this one could have done with being a couple of episodes longer

Maybe I haven't been paid enough attention - I've watched them randomly very late at night. I have no idea what's going on with the daughter 4 episodes in though. Preferred the focus on Barratt and Shun tbh

Oh right, yeah I watched them all in one sitting which probably helped

Bob wobbling and falling behind Paul right when he said "What do you think is going to happen here Bob?" is the most wholesomely funny thing I've seen in ages.

Perhaps the world. The Peter and Mrs Beardsley sections on Athletico Mince have made me cry with laughter in public.

On a side note I'm really glad to see his health problems haven't caused him to lose his talent at falling over. It's not something I usually pay much attention to but I remember seeing him take pratfalls on Shooting Stars and the Big Night Out and thinking god damn he really sells the shit out of those falls

Totally surprised by Unforgotten. Actually quite good for ITV.

Also. Really enjoyed the Ed balls doc on Trump.

Great British Bake Off is never going to return to its balmy BBC heights is it ):
Noel and Prue have no chemistry and doing away with the history section was a bad choice.. surely they could axe the repeated 30 seconds of footage flashbacks to the bakers day to day life every episode to squeeze it in.
