HPN Artist Thread MK 1000

Jesus christ you have to be kidding me.

Spent more time on these than on the soldiers. I really want to to a bigger piece of like 100 of these on one sheet of paper, but who knows

i've been kinda mad at my uniballs lately, i break them too easily. is there a similar pen that i'll have a harder time breaking?
I love the way they flow on the page when they are working, but then i get all excited and they stop working.

Slartisfgh has a heavy aroma of crude oil and was built to provide a fast way out of Brighton. Slartisfgh is never mentioned in The Bible, but it is here, during one of the early battles, that Matthew spontaneously became liquid.

Brittle, love that reworking, that green was weighing it down before.

The dimensions of that little painting are like 7.5"x11.5". And those are like liquidy watercolor paints on plastic Yupo paper, so it has a really smooth effect. The great thing about watercolors on Yupo is they're impermanent and can be changed/wiped away at any time if you just wet the paper and wipe the paint away. Kinda weird but also kinda awesome.

Damn Brittle those wood pieces are gorgeous. It would be amazing if you did a set of those with real wood planks - you say they're prints? I would definitely pick up a print if you felt like selling one.

Your painting skills have also improved so fast over the course of this thread.

the demands of hand painting it kind of destroyed the artists life (amongst other things), so yeah, something about it is really affecting

i think text distracts me from finding personal meaning in paintings/drawings etc... which i find important. especially when looking at something in real life as opposed to a still, i more often than not just want the dude to draw and stop attempt being a poet.

my first thoughts are "this is a song lyric" and it just lames it all up for me. then i don't buy it and you bozos eat bread sandwiches for three more weeks.
