I think I'm going to redo the text at the bottom now that I have a ruler.

I like how the text hangs and gets a bit bigger toward the end, fits the image somehow. Consider keeping it if you haven't redone it already.

moops those character designs are fantastic, love the little red cap guys. and smoothoperator is of course ruining my mind right now. The yellow light/cloud lines around the hands in the latest is just so perfect it makes me want to punch something (that could be some wine talking.)

Those are so great. What do you use for the fine black line detail? I just went back over my paint with a Micron but I'm looking for other ideas.

In these I've been using Jet Black Holbein Acryla gouache applied with a really fine liner brush.

In the bat and the boy I used watercolor and acrylic ink for the backgrounds, and then gouache on top. In the last one I used the same stuff, but added some colored pencil.

um, so smoothoperator do you want to design all my tattoos or what

Yeah, I'd love to do that. I'm going to be quite busy for the next two months though. In the mean time you can wear some temporary tattoos I made. The website to order those should be up in about two weeks. I'll keep you posted.

I made some digital prints of my artwork today and am really glad with the way they came out. If anyone is interested in ordering some from me through paypal let me know. I can get them in 9x12 and 12x16 with matte (my preference) or gloss finishes. I'm going to charge $20 for a 9x12 and $25 for a 12x16. That includes shipping.

drew this last week, another alien mech thing, while sitting at a table in a bar in LA with some of my all time favorite comic book artists sketching stuff right next to me. It was more than a little intimidating, after this piece I just stopped and enjoyed my beer while I watched them work.



I kinda hate the grey smudgy color I used on the alien guy but otherwise am pretty happy with it
