Making Trebek high five his LA burn got a laugh out of me. Austin is alright.
For one, I don't want to be known as the guy who randomly goes around and fixes people's computers. Even though I do that.

but from the games I watched I wouldn't be surprised if he craps out early in ToC facing tougher competition.

i would also like to ask a question george

how much was he sort of playing up the looseness of his daily double betting? it seemed like a put on, but i haven't thought about wagering strategy since i read a bunch of interviews with neal pollack about his run.

the only legit crazy ass gamble seemed to be that one match when he put 34k on the final jeopardy clue

agreed that he is slow on buzzer, esp in first round. but he might be doing a rope-a-dope sort of thing there because he had some impressive runs at the end of DJ to seal things up and his first-in rate is actually pretty high. even if that's true, he's going to run into trouble in ToC against the best of the best like the christian guy who won the teacher tourney or Pranjal from earlier this year (who was first-in on almost 50% of clues I think). he was good at saving his best cat for last to give himself a cushion for FJ, and then even skilled challengers would miss easy FJs any way, and it will be hard to reproduce those conditions when the other ppl know shit like King Arthur backwards and forwards.

the DD betting was a complete put on, but that makes it fun.

Dolly and that dick lost him the game. I also love when the far-off third place dude fucks up the other two with some well-timed buzzers.

I was not an Austin fan until tonight with the 'dicktree' interaction, so it was a bummer to see him go. Bring the noize in the ToC bb

let's see, i recognize austin (duh), buzzy, alan, that mouthbreather dude tim who was champ for like a week and a half, lilly chin, the teacher's tourney champ (david?) and that woman to the right of alex who i believe had glasses during her run? (also i think her name was lisa?) also the guy in the orange tie next to austin looks familiar but i can't remember anything about him

Does wheel of fortune come on after Jeopardy for everyone? Last week I left it on and there were these two black women from Inglewood/Long Beach and on their first turn they kept guessing right and buying the right vowels... But they guessed, in this order: N-I-G-E-R and it seemed too perfect to be a coincidence??
