Seconded. Tickets are priced at a modest 149 bucks *plus fees* :/
Also this will be their 10th show in LA since 1989

goldenvoice's radius clause means you guys are probably fucked, yeah
there's enough other acts i'd like to check out on sun that i'm not upset i paid that much, but it's definitely expensive overall

safe to assume they'll add second dates to most of these, right? i don't have a great gauge on their popularity, but i have to imagine that they'll sell out the fox theater in a minute.

Air did that when they played the Riv like 8 years ago and sounded perfect
hitting up a live show of all the big shoegaze bands in the past 2ish years; Slowdive, Swervedriver, Ride and now MBV, I just need Lush to tour again
Fwiw they didn't sound like total shit at the aaragon, so riv should be a piece of cake. Its just loud and reverby in a way that the room almost dosent matter. And yes they bring their own sound

Shields & Co. have no desire to visit Atlanta it seems
It's comforting to think that somewhere unfathomably far away incomprehensible beings are possibly having some kind of subjective experience of a world that possibly observes basically the same laws as our own

apparently i overestimated their draw, still a lot of presale tix available.
got GA floor for oakland, just because it was ~$20 cheaper than the good seats for whatever reason.

So FYF Fest just was cancelled due to low ticket sales.
I'm not surprised, as I posted a week or 2 ago how expensive the tickets were.
I hope MBV will set up another date in LA....

they have two oakland dates now, and seattle. assuming they don't just cancel the shows, i'd bet anything that they work in an LA date or two.
