Do you think that game will come out on the Switch? I installed it from your link to see if it'd work on my computer and I think it seemed real cool but I'm done double dipping on games and I'd rather play it on console.

i think very few games want to come out on switch because of the change in development, and it's currently pc only. ftl was also pc only. good luck.

Also are the Ys games something it's important to play in order because I see Ys VIII is coming out on Switch and maybe I'll finally play an Ys game

Into the Breach seems kinda perfect for touchscreens though, especially since you wouldn't need to scroll around a map at all like with other strategy/tactics games

some of the art actually looks kinda weird at 1440p. I had to consciously slouch away from the screen more than I usually would.

i think one time pod per island is almost guaranteed. i'm trying to save/reload to NOT get a time pod and it's not going so well

peeking at the game's code for a couple curiosities

can't find what unlocks the secret flag

pods do seem to drop more if you've found less

weapons/pilots have a rarity attached and you find rarer ones on islands further out, which probably confirms islands 3&4 are supposed to be harder than 1&2

im really glad about the res they used, i wish they would have gone smaller actually

its so close to the perfect work game and if they left it a little lower res (which i expected) it would be the perfect work game

otoh the size is about right for it to look like a browser game or something

not a clue what the first thing you posted is

if you want some fast achievements, doing easy and clearing 3 islands without equipping a new weapon/pilot and destroying all time pods (or without failing an objective, but that's generally easier) and various others is like 6-in-1

also, I think I remember that an in-game tooltip indicates that islands 3 & 4 are harder, but that which islands are 3 & 4 are determined by the order in which you visit them in a given playthrough

it's a heuristic for determining how enemies move based on the desirability of a given square

well, i'm being vague

when i talk about island 3&4 i mean ice and poison island. the tooltip says the islands you visit later are harder, so order should matter more than the island itself, but generally i find ice+poison to have arduous objectives more than the difficulty of enemies, so i'd rank them harder than the first two. when the game is talking about island 3&4, it probably just means the order in which you tackle them

i'm also deathly curious to know how many pods you can get per island. i'm almost positive i had one run where i found two on one island. i'm 95% certain you find at least 1 pod guaranteed per island, but i cannot trigger a second pod to spawn anymore
