I think Saturday is probably the worst day of the week to see Phish in 2017 though

Insane that that statement's probably true even though the Chicago Simple, Baker's Strawberry night/Blaze/Hood/Boston Cream mashup/Ghost were all played on Saturdays. Plus a very decent night in Mexico.

Sure I think it's in that Went Gin/Camden Chalk tier for sure.

What easily misinterpreted but innocent banter will Trey come out with tonight to terrify everyone? "We just wanna say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all these great years in Colorado. It's going to be awhile but we can't wait till we see you again."

It's a gorgeous and engaging listen, highly recommended

maybe i missed something with this, but i found this record to be pretty boring. there were a couple of moments that were really nice but it sounds like just about everything else they've done. wanted to fall deeply in love with it but couldn't connect.

i agree really. the first album didn't really move me much either. i didn't dislike it, just didn't make me feel anything. i'll try the new one again though since the world is freaking out over it and all that.

I'm not head over heels, it's not Born in the USA but holy fuck is it pretty. I'm definitely not into their songwriting like I am Kurt Vile, it's not quite on that level, but I also don't think it's just an empty shell of pretty sounds and studio nerdiness.

Their cover of Touch of Grey was what really sold me on them after having wanted to like them more than I did.

ugh, Petrichor is SO good.

Anyone else love it as much as I do? Because it's one of my current favorite Phish songs.

I don't love it yet, but I sensed right away that it was going to be a lifetime grower.

Yeah I'm 100% on board with Petrichor. I was thrilled to see it again on 8/5, I thought it would be shelved after NYE.
