prob a long shot, but...

if anyone is in dallas, consider this an open invitation to skate with me and my pals any time. we go to mellow street spots most days after 6pm, and all day on sunday.

i'm gunna be spending a lot of time at that spot grumby. i want to get better at skating stairs really bad

i've done a few impossibles before but it's never in that templeton/dylan way where the front of the board goes forward. like it just stays under the board. i definitely wanna learn how to do the proper wrap-a-round though.

unless you hang decks on the wall, to skate it is your best option

skate any way you need to, no such thing as bad

there's some 20-something rippers in the neighborhood. i see them skateing a home-made box and quarter pipe in the cul d'sac when i'm walking the dog from time to time.

how weird would it be if a 37 year old dude rolled up and asked to skate it with them?

i have no way to put myself in those shoes, because when i was in my 20's old guys only skated half pipes, wearing every pad and helmet ever devised.

they would be stoked brittle. and if they aren't then tell them i said they are fucking poseurs.

as a 20-something-y/o skater who is sometimes approached by older dudes with skateboards, it is always a good time. i was skating a ledge by the library not too long ago and a dude in his 50's showed up and started doing some freestyle tricks. it was actually really cool to have him at the spot doing his own thing, not worried about what tricks we were doing, not trying to fit in.

just don't say things like "yeaa we had to hop a lot of fences in my day" or "we didn't have nice skateparks growing up" etc.

just be yourself and skate with your cool neighbors

brittle i'm serious the only way they don't appreciate you joining is if they are socially awkward as fuck or you are hocking loogies onto the box or something

perhaps if you see them while walking the dog, you can say, "mind if i shred with yall for a little bit?"

yeah, i should definitely do this next time i see them out. i guess i have this idea that young people get their cockles up whenver they get approached by old people (like i did when i was their age). but that's probably just because the only time i got approached by old people when i was skating, was by narc-ass dorks trying to harass me.
