Volcom Wild in the Parks contest was in Austin on Saturday. Shit was pretty nuts. This local kid won the Hype of the Day with a big-as-fuck nollie frontside flip down the 9. You can't see it in the footage here, but he cleared the bottom stair by like 4 feet. The kid goes big.

Does anyone keep up with skating enough these days to speculate about SOTY? I was rooting for Brandon Westgate, but I think it's gonna be Grant Taylor. Both rip. It would be pretty cool if Busenitz got it seeing as this is probably his last chance.
