haven't had much quality beer in a while because i'm poor as shit but i had this yesterday because the bottle looked cool as fuck and the name seemed vaguely familiar
i remember it being pretty nice but i can't remember much more than that, think it was citrusy swiped the glass though!
had this straight after and i remember it being better, was 10% and toffee tasting. thought it was darker than that photo though. noteworthy that they asked £10 deposit for the glass, just had a normal one instead

this turned out to be a keg of cantillon lou pepe kriek. god damn this was good.
damn...does this stuff sit for awhile down there or is it liquid gold like it is everywhere else now?
boulevard just released a pretty limited sour here, 'love child #2', and it's one of the best sours i've had in awhile, i prefer it to most of the rr beers to be honest. made me proud to be from the podunk midwest
their was little promotion for the keg. the owner of the bar is friends with the head brewer of cantillon and always gets great cantillon kegs. i have had Classic Gueuze, Fou' Foune, and Mamouche on tap there before. the LP kriek lasted monday, tuesday, and some of wednesday. at first it was $6 for a 10oz pour, then after a few hours they corrected it to $6 for a 6oz pour. luckily i had four 10oz pours and a glass to take home by then.
Delirium Tremens is probably one of my favorite beers on earth. It's like $18 for a 4-pack, though, so it's a pretty rare thing.
Also I love the bottles but foolishly tried to keep them for bottling my own beer, which results in overfilling the bottle every time. The Delirium Noel is just as good.
went to alpine brewing company in the afternoon and drank nelson (perhaps my new fav ipa), duet and pure hoppiness from the source, then met fury at port brewings pizza port and drank draft mongo, blind pig and their amazing bacon and eggs porter

i agree with all this. not a huge nocturnum fan however.
As life would have it, Johnny did somebody wrong and they filed a complaint.
Recently went to Seattle and tried a bunch of great stuff. Brought these back with me. Not pictured is a bottle of Humulo Nimbus from the Sound Brewery.
I used to have more to contribute to this thread but drinking is dialed way back these days. Kind of sad, kind of glad about that. Anyway, Colette is back and I really think there is nothing on earth better to drink in the summer

fantastic place, the bartender was great and their selection is one of the coolest and best i've seen
evil twin room 603 bourbon impy stout was great once it stopped being all bubbles
Had the Port 6th Anniversary Double IPA today. A really pleasant tropical hop taste, but a tad sweet and overcarbonated. The alcohol reaches double digits but is hidden surprisingly well.

edit: strange thing to say...i mean ballast point is one of the top nationally available brewers if you ask a lot of people

ive had a couple of these now
i agree it is a bit overcarbonated, i think its due to previous years bottlings being undercarbonated
