Travel Thread: What should I do in Atlanta?

Ive found in time the search on this forum was shit but if you google whatever keywords with the word hipinion, you get what you're looking for most of the time. I mean even when they keywords aren't exact.

It was for his album cover. I think he bought it, so he left it like that. A bunch of my students took pics on it

I used to see former-boarders mahkul and allister at shows all the time around like 2001/2002/2003...

Never introduced myself or talked to them though cause I'm a socially anxious loner par excellence :awful:

an old college friend used to post here in the mid 00s (can't remember what his username was) and I remember he met up with some boarders at a Sonic Youth show in 06

I was all  at the thought of meeting hipinioners in real life tbh

Uh, I met you when I bought weed from michael, and then I saw you again at the earl once when my friend's band opened for My Morning Jacket. Thanks for remembering, dick.

Yeah my first apartment in Atlanta was right between North Druid Hills and Cheshire Bridge and there's so many cool spots around that area.

Yeah that looks dope.

Also the Warhol Exhibit at the High and also the Center for Puppetry Arts has a display of pieces from Labyrinth for the 30th anniversary of its release apparently.

It's not bad. We got a family pass because it is $24 per adult per visit, but $139 for three adults on a pass for a year. It's free for kids under 3. I live a mile from the zoo, so it is easy entertainment. The baby loves the reptile house. There are panda Cubs. My fav are the meercats and otters. And red panda of course

I can also take one guest for free each visit, so if anyone is looking to go, I got the hook up

I think my favorite day this year so far was going to that food truck fest in Grant Park, hopping over to the zoo, then going to see Radiohead :awful:

I only went to the zoo once for the Sippin Safari and I got real real drunk and harassed the panda mascot. I'd like to go back again.

Desta has been mentioned itt for Ethiopian food
Havana sandwich shop has great Cubano sandwiches
There's the Collonade for classic southern comfort food
I have a soft spot for the greasy, less-than-sanitary, Landmark Diner for breakfast

Also the Tara theater shows a lot of independent films. Every time I go there it's just always me and a bunch of senior citizens.
