The original. Yeah I liked Donahue's a lot too. I asked the owner about it and he said Donahue's was breaking even but that neighborhood didn't totally embrace it. He said it was kinda hard to sell American food that didnt have kind of a healthier vibe to it and was sorta annoyed that it was pegged as a meat and three because he intended for it to be a lot more versatile than that. What he wanted to do was retain donahues and open Sisters at a third location but it made more financial sense to just convert the Mott space to Sisters this year and try a more throwbacky american thing again sometime in the future. One thing he pointed out which I never really think about is people are a lot less likely to care about stuff like fat content if it's ethnic food and I guess that's probably true.

hey NYC friends where should I go if I want to get a decent but not too expensive (~$450-$800?) suit in the city? Should I just go to a department store? I feel like if I go to J.Crew or something i'll look like every other asshole in this city but then again i'm probably no different than any of them anyway.
