A huge one scurried across my desk just now and then flew away and hid before I could get it. I was a little suprised because I don't eat or drink in my room and haven't opened the window since I moved in but I'm guessing they are an NYC reality no matter how clean you are.

Look for and eliminate any water source. Wipe down your sink and stop it up when you aren't using it, same with the tub. Put diatomaceous earth around the baseboards - like, the whole perimeter of your apartment.

Advion Syngenta Cockroach Gel Bait is insane. I put it down and you could just see cockroaches come out during the night and eat it. then they eat their dead and die in their nest

the son won't rise again until april, poke!
You go through childhood and turn 9 or 10 or 11, and you walk around with weird feelings, and no one ever sits you down and explains them - sadness or loneliness or being dissatisfied with how things are or are going until you hear it in a song and it's utterly transformative. - rubicon

the windy and carl show talked about in this thread last week was thru them, and i would like to see the ex emeralds dudes/cluster dude show and the bill laswell/laraaji show

i envision it looking like the stars of the lid gig at a church in carroll gardens i (and other folks in this thread, i'm guessing) saw a couple years ago; i'm hoping that's the case bc that was one of the best shows i've ever seen
