it's so cheap because they sell your data

so if you value your privacy whatsoever, then you shouldn't do it

otherwise, movie city baby

well, you can only buy tickets with it at the theatre on the day of, not online. so when it was $40 a month i would feel like i was wasting money when i would buy tickets ahead of time for things i knew would sell out, like one night showings at metrograph or whatever. but now that it's $10 it's kind of insane for people who even see an average of a movie or two a month to not have it.

edit: @ larry

selling your data for relatively cheap movie tickets is so luridly, pathetically on-the-nose. it's like soemthing out of a george saunders story. like, so blatant that even talking about how blatant it is (like this) is kind of gaudy.

You guys are retards. You can't live in modern society, and not have someone sell your data. It's not 1992.

used to work in the kitchen/warehouse there.

cereal milk soft serve w/ cornflakes is the only thing i'll get these days if i walk in.

otherwise:
peanut butter cookie
blueberry cookie
chocolate cookie

everything else is just a sugar rush. but if you want that, the crack pie is the best version of that.

i used to eat way too many of those blueberry cookies but i never understood why someone would have that cereal milk ice cream more than once
You go through childhood and turn 9 or 10 or 11, and you walk around with weird feelings, and no one ever sits you down and explains them - sadness or loneliness or being dissatisfied with how things are or are going until you hear it in a song and it's utterly transformative. - rubicon

the cereal milk ice cream rips but only if you get it with chocolate and cornflake pieces. both of these are essential.

Yeah, I've always found things from milk bar way too sweet. I'm bringing dessert to a work party thing and am looking for ideas. I'm gonna bring a babka or 2 from Breads and a Japanese cheesecake from Fay Da. What else is good?

i like paris baguette cakes, though fay da might've covered the not-cloyingly-sweet-asian-cake side of things
