it is like a painting. very beautiful and personal. which was not the vibe of the show.

Have no clue how you could think this when it’s lead single was a monster mash cover basically

Your argument that a lead single is indicative of what the lp does as a whole is lazy. There is a sedated sadness and desperation across the entire record lyrically and in the production that I connected with.

Regardless, the show was a mixed bag.

I agree with this.

Also did the sax player lose his pants half way through?

Anyone go to Big Reuse in gowanus for wood before? I think I’ll go with low expectations to make a living room coffee table, and regardless go to other half

nah, not indicative of the whole lp (although a strong element of it with tracks like vidual, 1/2 man 1/2 shark, and emergency blimp), but very indicative of a consistent thread in his music up to this point.

the quieter ooz tracks that were performed were the one's that leaned into the "sedated sadness and desperation" the most.

it's weird to have expected a whole show of that tho in a venue like hammerstein.

Horrifying and infuriating indeed. I don't know what to say.

I'm really thankful for pro publica.

That shit is fucked

I remember coming across this article when I was trying to find the number to my old employers carting company

The shit I see these private trucks pull while I'm on my bike is incredible. Hard to blame the workers tho, 4 hours of sleep, 17 hours into a shift, 900 stops in, 30 tons of metal flying towards you through a red light

Or yknow, see them for free in august.
