Integration with GO makes so much sense, GO as an extension of your core Switch title experience.

Just started playing last night. Come out of the cave and I'm like "time to climb this mountain".

"Link....Link. You must go to the marker on your iPad".

"Shut up I'm just going to climb oh man it's freezing here ONE HEART LEFT?"

- goes to marker -

You can still explore the freezing mountain with the help of plants you find nearby, if you really want to.

But yes, there's a small area at the start of the game where you gain some important tools if you do what you're recommended to do. After that there are no markers.

I'm the opposite of you dudes, I guess, I'm never buying a game on another console again if it's available on the Switch

(to be fair, I regret buying the 2K port which they seemed to never want to update the rosters for the final 3 months of the season)

i guess the carts are expensive which is how they justify some of these games having dumb prices but i do wish more games would do like with rocket league where they charge less for the digital version

also i'm really stoked mario tennis

I bought Elena Temple thinking it was a cool idea doing like a game in many different versions of retro systems and while that idea is really interesting and fun it's not that interesting a game....

snowball shrine puzzle very cute. one of the nicer moments of slow discovery

i’ve done two bosses in this game now and i’m ready to say they’re janky as hell

i wouldn't say they're janky but they're not good for sure. i dug everything else w/ the divine beasts though.

i’m not even saying they’re bad necessarily. more that their presentation and arenas makes them seem like classic zelda gimmick bosses but they wind up just being pillars you pump damage into. the hardest part of them so far was actually getting link to get back on the platforms during the water boss.

i don’t mind them, i just don’t really know why they exist

divine beasts have been cool though. more than anything i like how they become landmarks in the world after beating them, seems like one of those obvious-in-hindsight smart gestures to make a mostly-unchanging world reflect game progress

The devine beats are pretty kewl but it's sort of lame that they all look the same w/ the same wall texture and the bosses are all variations on 1 boss.

I picked up Banner Saga. Loving the presentation but only played 2x battles so far - reminds me of Fire Emblem more than FFT. With the animation/graphics style I keep expecting a racist crow or cat to join my party.

Still pretty enamored with DKC though, feel like if I take a break my skills will just atrophy - starting to unlock the "hidden worlds" and they are just so cool. The rat/cheese mine level was so awesome looking, love the bit where you're trying to stay alive by sticking to the space in the wheel of cheese.
