damn M+R ratchets up the difficulty pretty quickly after world 1. just defeated the mid bosses on world 2 and it's getting downright punishing.

love it.

it really is. i've noticed a few glitches with the sound, particularly in those blue cannon/coin areas, but aside from that it's really polished and frankly feels like a AAA, in-house Nintendo title. arrived at the World 2 boss this morning, seems like it's gonna be a tricky one. also, Rabbid Mario's attacks/skills are unreal.

it really is. think i'll buy the season pass today. it's so satisfying and it's perfect to play on the switch, one battle at a time, whenever i have time.

Attn Battle Kingdom players: what teams do you use? I've been sticking with Mario, Luigi, and Rabbid Peach. Between Luigi and R.Peach's bombs and Mario's jump attack, we can tear through anything.

i've been doing mario, rabbid luigi, and peach. got rabbid yoshi last night and his gattling gun is nice, but i don't think i'll use him much. if you could do mario, luigi, and peach it would be so completely unfair. at this point they can all fire 3 defensive shots and recharge within a turn.

on world 4 now, still loving it. wish i'd have bought the DLC from the start so i could've used the weapons before most of them were obsolete, though at least they are leveled up when you get new characters.

it's a real shame that more of you aren't playing this game. maybe it would benefit from a demo.

Haven't played Battle Kingdom but I play it safe and only play Mario in games. His jump is just out of this world.

If I get this in October but already have Zelda for Wii U what are some of the games I should be getting

I definitely want Splatoon 2, I might trade up for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, wavering on Rabbids V Mario

yeah is there a better strategy for this one than waiting until the little robot dude jumps at you then trying to juggle him over to metal sonic?

get in a ball on either side before he drops the little metal dude out, then spin dash the dude and it'll send him flying, usually scoring a hit. rinse, repeat.

I use mario, rabbid mario, and rabbid Luigi right now and am having a decent time with it. My biggest issue is I rarely have enough coins to buy more than one or two weapons so I feel very under powered. I'm currently going through the challenges from world 1 so I can get enough money to deal with world 3-1.

Yeah that perplexed the shit out of me and ended up getting a time out during the second phase because I only figured this out by accident.

I beat the Oil Ocean boss in one try though :)

Battle Kingdom's difficulty really starts ramping up in the back half of World 3

I wasn't gonna bother with Rabbids, but after reading a lot of positive stuff and briefly watch watching a Let's Play, I took the plunge

Having a blast with it so far

I'm still not really clear on what mario v rabbids is, it seems like it's trying to be a hybrid of a bunch of other things. is it essentially a turn-based strategy game? I'm not sure I've ever spent much time with one of those, is it like worms or what?
