Newest EP (Inconsolable) is pretty cool/different for them--looking forward to the "album"

Yeah, and I'm curious about Rhea Sylvia, the one they compare to Alice in Chains.

I saw Thou do a cover of No Excuses (also on a ep they put out) in Albuquerque years ago and it was the sickest shit ever. Want to send a shit ton of desert freex into a moshing singalong frenzy? Do more AiC covers.

Saw Krallice last night. Just an insane bunch of talent in that band. I don't know how they do it, honestly. Wayfarer opened, and I'd never heard them before, but I was really impressed.

I still have yet to see them. Diotima still is like the best thing ever in weirdo technical metal in my eyes.

I need to revisit Diotima. I liked it when it came out but I haven't listened to it in forever. I listen to Dimensional Bleedthrough, Prelapsarian, and Go Be Forgotten a lot, but I haven't revisited the other older records in a while.

If you like the idea of robotic, progressive, technical black metal, then you absolutely should. They're definitely not for everyone, but I love 'em. Dimensional Bleedthrough (their second album) is my favorite, but their newest one, Go Be Forgotten, is a beast too.

Just listen to the title track from Dimensional Bleedthrough. It tells you everything you need to know, and if you're not into this, you're won't like Krallice.
