Last season ended with him running with wild horses, right? That's all I really remember, but I'm looking forward to this.

Finished it. I think it's my overall favorite series on TV right now. I've liked it through the whole run but, maybe because I took it in even quicker than ever it just really felt visceral even more than ever this season. I actually found the conclusion a little underwhelming though I can't say it wasn't well set up. But as has been the case maybe every season, it was a lot more about the emotional arc than it ever is about the actual plot.

But really - I guess they subtly indicated the Henrietta plot was taking place a lot later than a bunch of the rest but... it being BoJack's dad's kid feels a little random, even though I realize his mom was one of the main characters of the season. My first guess was that somehow Henrietta was actually BoJack's mom but that definitely didn't make any sense.

The dissolution of the Mr Peanutbutter and Diane marriage hit home. I like how long they let that simmer and the 'tired of squinting' really hit a rich vein, especially in consideration of how long the show has focused on their marriage almost failing but not quite. I also liked how 'the Belle room' concept very much seemed like the right idea but given all we knew about Diane, her surprise reaction kind of worked.

I found almost all of the more experimental episodes worthwhile - the Todd episode was great, the flashback episode was too. The negative self talk episode was one of my favorites of the series and the gun control/feminism one worked really well for me. It's all a bit of a blur from watching it as quickly as I did but there were probably a dozen jokes that I had to pause the show and give myself a second to take in fully. I really don't know of another show on TV, especially a comedy, that connects as well as it does, for me.

I know it's silly, but when they go on the runs such as all the Courtney Portnoy stuff, I'm always so filled with glee
