kingsley made some improvements

i don't think ron ever actually believed being pureblood should make him special. he may have resented the fact that it wasn't true, but i don't think he ever thought there was a difference in power or ability between purebloods and non-purebloods. i don't even think percy ever believed that and he would be the most likely imo to look for and latch onto those distinctions

as for other intelligent and sentient magical beings, well, ron has made me cringe many times

however ron was obviously acutely aware of class and often embarrassed by his family/belongings

harry's arc is almost learning when to tell an adult when something is wrong

in the first book harry straight up is like "we gotta deal with voldemort even though we're 11" and in the seventh book he's like "hey aberforth can you do me a small favor, please don't ask me why"

But from that moment on, Hermione Granger became their friend. There are some things you can't share without ending up liking each other, and knocking out a twelve-foot mountain troll is one of them.

Ok lets be real though the Weasley family thing makes nonsense. They're like pure, old blood but also somehow dirt poor but they live in a big house and the adults are old school freedom fighters and their giant brood is comprised entirely of succesful and relatively famous wizards. Money and the general economy of the HP uni is really all over the place

if the wizards were just or good at all, they've spend all their time researching how to grant magic to all Muggles, or at least improving Muggle lives, but instead they hide like cowards

hard agree about money & the economy, it makes no sense

mr. & mrs. weasley weren't in the original order of the phoenix. molly's brothers were though. and that's not to say she didn't fight against voldemort but i got the sense that she and arthur were not really involved the first time around. they had bill, charlie, and percy by then
