my PC barely meets the minimum requirements so I'm not sure whether to get it or wait a year or two until I upgrade

although I'm wondering if the minimum requirements are a bit overstated now that people are alleging that they significantly dialed back the graphics quality

Yep, pre-ordered it last year. And the expansion packs a few weeks ago.

Probably my most anticipated game of all time.

Early reviews seem to be scoring the game between a 9 and 10.

Just wish I could take next week off work for it.

Uplay has a buy Witcher 3, and then choose 1 free game from: Assassin's Creed Rogue, Assassin's Creed Black Flag, Watch Dogs, or Far Cry 3 Deluxe.
I reduced the temples of Elam to naught; their gods and goddesses I scattered to the winds. The tombs of their ancient and recent kings I devastated, I exposed to the sun, and I carried away their bones toward the land of Ashur.

I think most of the criticisms of this series are accurate, but I love it so much anyway.

Are these games actually half romance novel or could I play this without my girlfriend thinking less of me forever?

There isn't much romance. Most of the sex is casual.

probably a small step up in that department than fable letting you choose if you want 'safe' sex or not. still the best game tho.
