i actually think the peak AnCo pop sound had a greater impact on like spotifycore electronic pop than anything indie

i also remember that i learned about Lower Dens from Bradford. that Twin-Hand Movement record.
he was good at amplifying things.
i actually miss that 00s blogspot era kind of interfacing with fanbases a lot.

That Privacy record has the greatest "personal meaning" to "album length" ratio. 11 minutes that just rip me apart every time.

Thanks Bradford.

another band that had a big influence on deerhunter was liars apparently
i read recently that the guys in liars were super encouraging early on and pushed them to re-record cryptograms when they had a bad experience the first time

lol @ their defunct label being "marriage records" and the EP is called "songs"

it's almost deliberately ungoogleable

thanks, I meant the stuff he used to post as individual songs/EPs over a few years though - seem to remember the databank series was released together. I guess some of what Im after might be on the dropbox now though, I'll try and regain access to that

lol yeah, very tough to find info. I can drop stuff in the dropbox when I get home tonight.

She has two "albums": 2006's Without Mercy (8 songs, 21 minutes) and 2009's Songs (6 songs, 11 minutes). She's from Portland and I'm guessing that when they were there on tour, Bradford stopped by Mississippi records where they told him about her.
