Let's talk Aguachile Alley

Please tell me a bunch of you watched the premiere last night! It looks like this may be the creepiest season so far.
Sarah Paulson is great every season, but she really has a good, twisted character this season, and she is already doing her justice.
Murphy did his usual homage/almost rip off of various movies, mostly The Shining, and Se7ven. I swear,
if Chloe Sevigny's head ends up in a fucking box, I will be very disappointed in MurphyToggle Spoiler.
The hotel is a great setting, an old hotel in LA that is on skid row, just like the real hotel with horrible history it is based on, the Hotel Cecil. I'm sure some of you have read about some of the creepy shit that continues to occur there.

Hahahah, after the last two seasons, Murphy really wanted to get back to creepy. Last night's premiere was better than s3 and s4, which I still saw, and enjoyed them for what they were.
Hotel seems like it's going to be very, very dark and disturbing, but yes, we'll see how it goes.
There was no Angela Basset last night, which bummed me out. There are some characters that need to be introduced, though.

Laughed out loud at Kathy Bates opening a silver serving tray to reveal several smaller serving trays underneath.
Also a big fan of whatever Dennis O'Hare was doing here.

I really enjoyed Max Greenfield getting fresh with Kathy Bates, and swishing around in his white high tops, but then, you know...

i liked this a lot more than i thought i would. but like others said, i really hope this isn't a recycled murder house.
i think they should have renamed this season "American Horror Story: True Detective" tho.
also, how is chloe sevigny, the ultimate druggy '90s club kid, not playing sarah paulson's role?
wimbledon, strawberries, bubbles, please protect me. happy midsumma, hope you spend it in your heart, everyone is there. bitch.

This is great, fuck the haters.
I don't know where it's going and I'm okay with that.
Max Greenfield brought me great joy, and Sarah Paulson is a definite girlcrush for me. I kind of loved Gaga, but someone said she's playing her gaga character, not really acting and I can see that, but I'm not sure yet if I care/think that's bad.

I am am guessing the hotel/the countess is going to drag her into that world somehow, and things will turn dark for her.
I enjoyed Sarah Paulson as Hypodermic Sally, I want to know more about her, and see what's in store for her.

The premier was all razzle dazzle, and barely any storyline.
I'll end up watching the entire season, but my expectations are going to stay low I guess.
