This is maddening.

I'll take what I can get, but I hope to god this is more than pre-Metal Circus releases and rarities.

I assume it's basically just Henry's Twitter account at this point. Looks like he posts on his blog infrequently.

Been giving Sugar's File Under Easy Listening a lot of spins lately. Beaster is also a shredder.

yeah, sugar has some jams. i've never gotten into the ablums too heavy but this song and also the live performance of it with lou barlow are totally great.

Sugar's "Feeling Better" is completely overloaded with hooks - can't get enough!

Did anyone here read See A Little Light. I thought it was pretty disappointing especially post-Husker. I borrowed it to my mom who is an og Husker fan and she didn't bother finishing it.

To be clear, I do like Sugar and Workbook, just thought that the book itself started to drag around then.

Dunno, I liked it, and feel like it gave me a better appreciation of the lyrics and subject matter of his songs from all eras. But I've never really been as much of a Grant guy and probably hold the Sugar and solo stuff in higher than average regard (like, i probably rate Side A of Copper Blue and all of Beaster above most of his Du stuff, and think his recent stuff is far and away better than any of his peers' later works, with maybe the exception of, I dunno, Ball-Hog or Tugboat), so I was a pretty receptive audience to start with.

I enjoyed the insight into bobs life, the various scenes he kicked around in, and liked and disliked the aspects of his personality I figured I would
He certainly writes with an engaging voice even when telling about how amazing (or aggravating) some fourth tier solo album was to make

Numero have been hinting at a big Husker reissue campaign for a while now and the most recent update is they would be sharing all of the details in a few weeks. Also the poster art was in their last Instagram:

Reveal should be in the next two weeks according to their IG. Hopefully this first release includes expanded Metal Circus.

Cringey, to clarify, the maddening part is that Numero has been teasing an official announcement for months now. They're really dragging it out.

The live discs from the Copper Blue and FUEL reissues and Live at ATP 2008 are pretty much my go-to Spotify listens when I can't think of anything else to put on. Those get me through work on a lot of days.

could agree with most of those points. they suffered a bit from a few of the production choices, but on a writing level it was definitely really full-force like the beatles were. where even the kinda mediocre moments seemed super crafted.

I adore Grant's "You Can Live at Home" - perfect song to wrap up Warehouse (and their career) with.
