that interview was fantastic

the episode where they dissected Reign Over Me was an absolute riot and totally worth dropping $ for grey wolf status

I don't know how I'd be able to get through this election without these guys. Like is discussed in that interview, it just makes me feel less alone on a basic level.

My good friend got to go to the DNC and hang out with them (AND meet Tim Heidecker & Vic Berger) and I've never been so jealous.

Thread got me to finally subscribe to this, loving the stories about Alex Jones' rally and meeting Milo in the last episode

fun show and i like most of what they have to say, but as far as chapo trap house being the best or even the funniest podcast, nah. maybe it's their delivery, or that it feels like they find themselves funnier than they actually are, (especially off of twitter) but a lot of the jokes just don't do it for me. great insights and deconstruction of political bullshit though.

hollywood handbook for life.

second episode carl wrote an aaron sorkin style script and reads it to jon lovett which I found hilarious

the brandon wardell ep is also essential, although that dude clearly doesn't know much about politics

the show picks up is what I'm trying to say

I've listened to every (free) episode of this over the last week or so and my mind feels very sick & twisted at the moment

it is kinda low hanging fruit but whenever they describe john kasich as a desperate hobo I get chest pains from laughing so much

I do think it is interesting how they are constantly railing against the sad approval-seeking sycophancy of centrist magazine journalists yet they're quick to shout out the fucking av club the minute they say something vaguely positive about their show. also every single issue has to be framed in terms of references to the simpsons or iannucci or dril tweets but comparing politics to game of thrones signifies automatic hackdom apparently

I understand your point, but I don't think av club or paste writers believe they have the same clout the likes of chait or ezra klein do

christman doing a philly Alex jones in the bonus live ep is destroying me. he is like plastered the entire show

I started listening to this only familiar with felix but matt christman is truly the standout chapo boy. cant wait for frost/christman
