look I'll just lay it on the line here

I remember transylvania

we still have a shot here I think, we have to focus on paring down the order. no offense to whoever is doing the arresting but it hasn't been particularly successful.

I know I haven't been around much, my personal life is kind of in shambles right now, but I'm here right now so let's do this.

first winner is universe.
second winners are the order.
third winner is werd, who did everything short of killing with his own bare hands but wasn't able to keep his team alive.

thanks for the game everyone!

I think the Ministry has maybe shit the bed real hard here. So, question is...do we want to see evil destroyed?

Voldemort has been killed. But his ideas live on. Can we let the world fall to darkness? Can we continue knowing that his legacy will live on and that generations of young witches and wizards will need to look over their shoulders to see if a madman will rise again and want to wish them harm?

I say no. I say that the idea must be killed well beyond the man. It doesn't matter if you were born into a magical family or if the magic first sprung up in you. I will never let the Death Eaters go until my last breath. And no true witch or wizard worth their salt will either.

hidden mechanics

40% chance of Supermoon each full moon during which seeing power is enhanced

Each team’s chance of homework increases with thread participation

Prophet gives inaccurate clues about upcoming or previous actions/developments/mechanics, Quibbler correctly foreshadows and/or hints at previous actions/developments/mechanics

Azkaban breakout: roll a 5 (RNG 1 - 9), odds increase each night (definite breakout by N9)
-Since there’s only one breakout, the roles of those that are arrested AFTER the breakout will be reveaed in the following DAY’s lore

Remus and Greyback are silenced every full moon.

During a full moon, Remus is too ill to do an Order attack so he and Sirius can’t complete their night actions on those nights (they will be informed of this ahead of time).

Meanwhile, the Death Eaters allow Greyback to attack rather than using the killing curse, so full moon night kills will be referred to, in the lore, as werewolf attacks. If Greyback is evaluated during a full moon his night action will read as Attack. If Bellatrix is evaluated during a full moon, her night action will read as N/A because she’s taking the night off (spa night at Cissy’s).

If both Greyback and Bellatrix are dead or imprisoned, the night killing ability will be randomly reassigned to another Death Eater.

The ONLY times McGonagall can block a DE kill is 1) during a full moon if she happens to choose to block Greyback; 2) if there's only one DE left with killing power and McGonagall blocks that person

The Order’s killing power is randomly reassigned if Remus and Sirius are both dead. If it’s reassigned to an order member with another power, only one power can be used/invoked per night (“use” applies to Dumbledore, McGonagall, and Tonks; “invocation” applies to Moody and Shacklebolt).

Fail-Safes: DON’T USE THESE FOR FUN IDIOT

Ministry: 1. If Umbridge is killed on or before N3, the Inquisitorial Squad is activated (they as a group get nerfed seeing powers, they vote separately on scan target and majority vote is scanned. They can only see if the player has a night action or not, not what the action is, nor the faction the player is with.); 2. If Fudge dies on or before N3, Scrimgeour and the IS get clues to find each other; 3. If the IS is activated AND more than half perishes before N5, arrests are bumped up to one per night

Death Eaters: 1. Azkaban Breakout; 2. Full moon double kill; 3. (added after roll) if stakeout (Voldemort) suicides on or before N3 AND separator (Pettigrew) is still alive, their roles are switched so separator becomes Voldemort and stakeout is removed from the game as Pettigrew. If Pettigrew is dead on or before N3 and Voldemort ALSO suicides on or before N3, see fail-safes 1 and 2.

Order: 1. Marauder’s Map (secret item), find out the location (faction) of a player [limited use]; 2. If Dumbles is fired or arrested on or before N3 (aka not dead) he can continue to scan people and get some of the garbled results out to Severus or another Order member (via game mod)

well, both ministry and DE decided to play the 'not talk in thread' card, so...

It got a bit silly when it was 90% order talking to itself

wasn't it a little too hands off to skip mod instruction on how to contact your cabal?

or had you given up by then?
