A nice breeze runs through her hair. There's a few more gray strands than purple strands these days, but everybody gets old, in time, and she could finally pick a nicer place to grow old than Nicenicity. Nor a nicer place to raise a boy to a man, she thought, as her plump, gently round framed son yelped gleefully as he ran to the beach, his sandals flopping with loud slaps as they bounced off his heels and the concrete. Other than the straight mop of long dirty blond hair, he looked almost nothing like his father.

Good.

Oh, that wasn't every nice, she admonished herself. That sounded like the old her. That was a long, unpleasant time ago. She'd moved and made a fresh start several times in the years since, and it was high time her memory was nice enough to respect that. Balm City. Seattle. L.A. The less said about there the better. That hadn't been a very nice time in her life. Nicenicity was already vastly more pleasant.

Someone smiled at her. Someone she didn't know. It was genuine. Friendly. Empty of pretense. It was a little eerie, unfamiliar, but she warmed to it, and smiled back. She could get used to this vibe.

She heard her boy laughing loudly. He had made it to the beach. His face was red, but not quite as red as the girl standing next to him. She was a good head and a half taller than him, and thin, like a collection of posts. Her short black curls bounced with her head as she laughed and laughed. He had told her a joke.

About time, she thought to herself, smirking. Nicenicity had already brought the boy out of his shell more than she'd seen since he'd started putting on the weight. It was a nice sight. It really was the nicest place in the world. The hostility of the rest of the world really did just seem to melt away under the bright sun. She even felt it leaving her, too.

She brushed one of the remaining purple strands away from her eye and slowly strode across the lot towards the beach herself.

don't be afraid do put up some NICE rp flavor text as you get into character. Being nice is fun, and profitable.

Thanks for the encouragement, VHB.

And I must say, it's truly an honor to share this game with you.
I wish you the best of luck.
