I'm not 100% sold on slack for werewolf, but would anyone else want to try Two Rooms and a Boom on it a little while after this game's over?

The board/slack split is kind of one foot in, one foot out in my opinion. Slack better represents what it's like playing the game in person. I'd almost rather have discrete one shot Slack games over a couple of hours, and then the board games as their own things. Maybe that's Werewolf overload.

It's a social deduction game, like werewolf, but I think it's more suited to slack.

There are two equal teams, Red and Blue. There is a President, on the Blue Team, and a Bomber, on the Red.

There are also two rooms which have the players randomly divided among.

There are X number of turns, and at the end of each turn, a certain number of hostages get traded between the rooms.

At the end of the game, if the Bomber and the President are in the same room, the Red Team wins. If they are in separate rooms, the Blue Team wins.

i picked the wrong week to go away and missed sign ups. oh well i utterly suck at role playing and trying to navigate these new roles through several paragraph posts seems real tough. i'm looking forward to observing the decline of roleplay posts and just straight up bitter n paranoid posts however.

Yeah the "I'm breaking character [so you know I'm telling the truth now]" character is my favorite character.

And concur with everyone else. Aeris you were a real fun read this game. Glad to have you as part or our little society.

"Too fucking hard", apparently, given that it's happened every time we play this game, usually accompanied by a rash of in-game seppuku that only compounds the problem.

It's almost so traditional I can't imagine a HPNWW game without it.

The more the merrier.

The way things are going with so many of us willing to run a game the next one will probably start up as soon as this one ends.

oooOooOoo

even in death, even in afterlife, (radiant, stately) Huck Mulligan was heard to say that he did not take it personally that Jugdish had never, not even once, contacted him to, like, get very clear instructions. but everyone knew that he, Huck, was lying.
