This game really brought me back to my roots: my childhood of guilting my mom in to letting me out of trouble

originally that message was 'for palmer's sake', but I thought that was pushing it a bit too far, and a switched it to 'for the sake of transparency' :P

instead of killing, the villagers and the wolves invite boarders to join until the whole board is playing, because, love binds

getting killed is just "taking to the hammock for a nap"

Snatch wrote:let's talk about how to make a chill werewolf game itt

first you gotta have short phases

second the lynches and kills actually need to be, like, positive in RP terms

third it's gotta be maybe, like, 1 seer and that's it because cabals aren't chill at all

fourth you need to make it a rule that all posts in the thread need to be in RP and anyone who calls anyone a name gets murked

fifth it all needs to get set to young thug

sixth, everyone needs a role. TOS style.

Not start a game immediately after another one ever again. Minimum 1 month break.

Snatch wrote:Also re: scheduling, I've said this in Slack, but I kind of like the idea of starting a new "big" game on the first of the month. People can float in and out of games depending on their schedule or their burnout level, but we'd likely always have 15-20 people down to play, and we could plan things like Alice's 55-person Faculty game ahead of time so people know one month might be busier than others.

Either that, or we could do bigger games every two months or so, but I know you guys, and I know myself. We're going to want to play.

yeah like i don't want a break
i know i need a break possibly
i don't want a break i don't like things that are good for me

1st of each month is a really good idea though. or even like first or second sunday of each month

idk

more werewolf please
damage my psyche it feels good i love it

yeah this is it

like a commune where everyone gets high and listens to liz harris

the commune votes every day for who's done a particularly good job lately and gets to go chill at the nearby springs for a few weeks as a reward for their hard work

and yeah the wolves are the commune elders who send folks away to the hammock to take a nap

i want this

i want it so hard

I think Snatch's scheduling idea is a good one. One game a month should prevent us from actually eventually murdering one another, and will leave a few weeks between games even for the lunatics like me who will probably want to play almost all of them.

Voting can be the group deciding who to gets to take a huge dose of Kratom and pass out listening to sick tunes on really nice headphones.
