HPNWW #9 The Oracle of Thanatos Game Over Evil Wins

There are worse ways to spend the time, but not many.

There was only one day I had no fun, even though the last three days were real slogs.

Ya'll are treasures even when I yell at you in a fake game. Would do it a thousand times more, just not for a month.

Cat, no one is denying there were balancing issues, this was one of the first things I talked about

there should have been one fewer natural wolves and the ic should have woken up closer together and earlier

also the amulet probably should only have been able to turn a villager, turning a special made too many issues

the rest of the stuff people are complaining about worked great and the game slayed

role assignments were totally random what are you talking about

if you were assigning roles to living players throughout the game it is NOT RANDOM

I am surly

the number of greeks was fine! but:

they needed to be assigned RANDOMLY at the beginning of the game
two should have been awake on DAY 1, we can't catch wolves when there are no wolves to catch
there should not be an alignment-changing amulet in a game of 25 people

Sorry if I hurt your feelings.

I do take issue with being called a bad villager when I'm obviously merely a garbage person but I'll let it go.

i'd rather be a bad villager than a garbage person. i dont think you are either and was just responding to your semi-barbed posts in kind. there really is no need to call people idiots, morons, pricks, etc etc. in this game, ever. it just invites conflict.

we all knew what was going to happen when grammatron died and the fact that the last greek woke up on n5 and was chosen from the pool of living players... well, we were doomed.

effort ≠ crafting a narrative

we never claimed to know anything. all we did was try to make information public and spark discussion, and when we thought someone was acting wolfy we called them out on it. as far as i understand it, that's part of the game

but i'm new

you're right that there's no need to call names

i can't promise i won't do it in the future (not to you specifically, to anyone) but i wasn't in character. it was actually just bread astaire being an asshole and that's not cool

the problem was your conception of what "acting wolfy" is was totally flawed so your focus became eliminating "distractions"
