lol vh if a team succeeds it totally makes sense to let them keep trying until they fail

way higher probability of continued success than picking all new members

if kit fox were to pick an all new team that would seal him as evil to me

if he picks the same team plus himself he can work towards proving he is good if the mission succeeds again

I think it's unwise to assume a successful mission clears everyone on that first mission. I have good feelings about most of them, but I would put that out there.

The Death Eaters hide among us.

Well of course. I would hope this is completely obvious to everyone.

Thus, even if he is evil he won't do this. He can't afford to.

If someone has doubts about people on the first team, can we hear your thoughts?

Werd reads like he's trying too hard to say he's a good guy. Which is probably Snatch's feeling on me, although the lone no vote looks bad too.

I think everyone else is probably cool though. Of course I tend to be a poor judge, historically.

Probably obvious now, but Werd was the basis for my No vote ftr.

Make no mistake. This game is won or lost on giving information openly. It's quite difficult to trust everyone, especially when there are some who appear different from what they are. We should pull together in these times.

I think I need a firewhiskey.

Thanks snatch for leading a successful mission against that dumb old tree.

I'm gonna give the same team a go plus myself, and we'll also allow VH Balanced an opportunity to prove his devotion to the cause since he seems to have misgivings.

What do you all think?

As someone who has been Confirmed Good, I am questioning why vhb voted against the previous team. I don't know what voting against the team so early on would have revealed to us. As (i don't remember who...but someone) said...we have to start somewhere, after all. And the mission did end up proving successful. I too am distrusting of this team as there are some included in the mix who I am not sure where exactly their loyalties lie.

full transparency: i approved and i don't know if i can change my vote if there's something damning about vh that i don't know

my personal reasoning is that no data can be gleaned from the first mission because it's not in TE's best interest to sabotage. based on my last performance in ww, i'm hesitant to rely on hunches, vibes, and gaffes when we still have a seer-ish role that can point to better evidence.

i'm of course open to hear other thoughts here or via dm. i've never played with this many people so it's def possible i'm missing a crucial nuance.

Fair enough. I just know first mission gives no real data because it always passes. I think of this as the real first mission to really start getting good info so the team makeup doesn't really matter as so far everyone is at the same level of suspicion as everyone else and we'll actually learn something no matter what.

VH Balanced, if you want to start thinking about your team now so we can begin voting on it when the votes for kit fox's team are in, you can go ahead

Team Two, led by kit fox, was rejected with

2 yes votes (including double votes)
kit fox
TES

11 no votes (including double votes)
Catullus
doritopassion
Geoff
granger
iambic
sevenarts
Snatch
snitch
VH Balanced
werd

1 non-vote (including double votes)
surly

The mission, which would have been "to sneak in to Harry's dresser and replace all his robes with Slytherin robes," was a NO-GO.
