Virgin Werewolf (#16): WOLVES WIN

There are worse ways to spend the time, but not many.

I had promised metersk the previous night that I would vote for ted the next day if I was wrong about tim, which I was.

I have tended to vote later rather than earlier because I'm trying to get a sense of not which way the wind is blowing but (to poorly riff on the metaphor) how it is blowing and who is the source of it. I will fully admit that my first attempt at it went really poorly.

Anyways, I think that there's a chance that the spreadsheet post was a feint by carrot. At this stage of the game there is one person I trust completely (and will feel like a complete idiot about if I've been had) and I'm going to follow their vote. From that perspective it's a 50% shot which isn't too bad.

Thus, carrot

3 - carrot
1 - metersk
1 - efreet

bill remains, 7ish minutes left.

Also I did lay out a case against pikul on the day we lynched tim, so it's not like my vote for him was that out of no where. I didn't feel the need to rehash things at that point, but maybe I should have.

Werewolves kill metersk, a villager, and with that, they win the game!

Alright, a few things:

-Compatibility Mode, you were absolutely right that both werewolves were on slack the first night. I was on slack from the beginning, but only bill and Philippe knew that.

-Metersk, your screenshot gambit was good (and caught Ted out) but when Tim revealed that Trask had claimed to have spoken to you, I knew that I would need to have established contact with the good coaches.

-I really was very busy for the past couple days, that wasn't a clever strategy or anything (although I did vote early for Ted on purpose--thanks for being the sacrificial lamb). I don't think I'll be able to play this much. (Sorry Philippe!)

-Thanks for putting this together, Luke (and for coaching, Bread!). It was fun.

Have fun gloating, wolves. You did good.

You all did, really, and I'm eventually going to get around to pointing out posts where I thought you played really well.

Thank you all for playing and I hope you've all caught that itch that the rest of us have. Alice's game starts in a couple weeks

If I haven't personally thanked you for playing or pointed out a particular post of yours I thought was worth highlighting already tonight, I'll try to get that to you in the next day or so.

Damn it!!!! I totally missed you on slack on night one then.

Yeah, so my whole thought process was that both wolves were on slack for the first kill, but I didnt see vivian, and because of that I trusted vivian more than I ought to.

I am also glad metersk was a villager. If he was a wolf I would have felt very betrayed.

Good game everyone!

is it normal to have developed a greater general mistrust of humans, and to think things like,"they would be saying that, if they were a WOLF!" in non-werewolf conversations?

This game was really well played by just about everyone and shouts out to Ted who was the best minion I've seen. I'll admit I went into this expecting to be frustrated with both teams and ended up just super impressed and excited.

Can't wait to kill all of you.

Yes. During Harry Potter werewolf I was extremely sleep deprived and stressed and there was a moment where I thought my cat was hiding something from me. Just one very very brief moment. But I remember it well.

And then in Thanatos the bad guys were Greeks. One night my husband asked me if I wanted Greek [food] and I screamed WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE GREEKS?!?!?!!!

The list goes on.

haha :awful:

yeah, the game was a lot of fun. i am considering running a game for my friends on wechat. have one main chat instead of a thread, and let them break up into their own respective 1-on-1 or multi-player group discussions.

for my part in the game, i think i made some reasonably grave mistakes in the first few days.

specifically:
-organizing the killing of tim (for honestly no real reason)
-trusting vivian

Ted could have stayed alive longer had he let us lynch carrot. Don't worry though, still think you're a dick.

Full disclosure, I texted ted irl to tell him I was going out the night I was lynched and to let me know if anything went down. He then changed his vote to me and went to bed on account of being shook that no one was going to be lynched. Rest in piss "best minion ever"
