Virgin Werewolf (#16): WOLVES WIN

There are worse ways to spend the time, but not many.

Postby Ted Pikul » Fri Mar 18, 2016 11:04 am

I didn't say I didn't know we could contact the coaches. I said I didn't know that wolves could talk to the good coaches

edit: I learned that earlier in the day when metersk asked to see my screenshots. i was trying to explain to metersk why his test isn;t reliable

compat -

The Bodyguard may not select the same player two nights in a row. If the kill is blocked, the Bodyguard and the Werewolves will know that the Bodyguard blocked the kill. For all other players, it appears publicly a No Kill night by the wolves. Upon a successful block, the Bodyguard must rest a night, but they do not die, nor do they kill a wolf.

i realize this purity test will be unique to this game, but whether it is reliable or not, you could have supported your claims with a screenshot.

it certainly places you in a bad light.

we have no new information since the murder was either blocked, or the wolves decided not to kill (in order to play off our lack of information and get us to lynch another villager).

our best guess is for Ted Pikul

I've been told that metersk told efreet how to vote and the timing was just too late

I don't know if that's true but if it is, it takes efreet off the hook somewhat

I maintain that efreet's actions look more minion than wolf to me at the moment. suspending a kill for another night is quite a chaotic move; the wolves couldn't be sure we would've gone after Tim again so there doesn't seem much incentive to me to suspend a clear kill of a villager.

I accept that efreet could've been playing an incredibly tight game, deliberately timing his rescinding post too late, but the margins just seem too fine to me. his post was the exact same minute as luke's - he actually beat him to it. it just doesn't seem likely in my opinion. either way, very suspicious move.

i just re-read over a bunch of the last few pages and retrospectively, i'm kinda suspicious of efreet now, because of the last minute attempt to rescind his vote.

i feel like luke was pretty clear on the ten remaining minutes thing, and i feel like efreet could have timed that kinda perfectly outside of the time limit so he'd look innocent, but his vote to kill tim would still be counted

i don't know how much weight that theory has, though.

i think Ted Pikul is definitely suspicious as all hell

You guys are making a big mistake here.Metersk is playing a dangerous game. He manipulated tim against me, tim and me against carrot, and efreet against me. That's four villagers he's used, and what do we have to show for it? Just some dead villagers.

it was a sincere attempt at rescinding. I was getting lobbied hard by tim and metersk. Someone brought up that post tim made that vivian darkbloom quoted around 3 minutes before the deadline. I took too long thinking it over and missed the deadline.

I will fully admit that my logic yesterday was bad. I was definitely angling for taking out tim with the hopes that him being revealed as a wolf would also expose metersk. I was very wrong and that was a bad gamble. I still think the substance of the post where I voted for tim was somewhat correct, I just applied it wrong.

okay, i have a few things to say.

ted, yes i did manipulate all of those people against you, because i truly believe you are a wolf. there is obviously a possibility that you are not, but the great screen shot wars are the best proof i have right now about anyone.

i think it is safe to say that i have been a part of a lot of the wheeling and dealing. this was advice given to me by trask. the role of the villager is poke around a lot, ask tons of questions, etc. anyone else who is a non-special villager probably received the same advice from trask.

i'm going to put myself on the line as the leader of team good by stating the following:

i was just told by someone that they are the hunter. if you are the hunter and you did not tell me that you were the hunter, you should come to me.
i was also told by someone that they are the bodyguard. again, if you are a bodyguard and you did not come to me, you should reach out.

team good, do with the above as you wish, but we do need a solid core group if we want to win the game at this juncture.

with that i will vote to lynch Ted Pikul

You guys are putting a lot of trust in metersk. He can blackmail any of you. Anyone who doesn't vote to kill me is going to become a target tomorrow. You let him take charge, and if metersk isn't good the village is already fucked.

RIP Ted and tim, victims of metersk. Efreet and carrot are probably his next targets.

Think of it this way:

Everyone is going to vote to lynch me. There's no way anyone will dissent.
If I'm the hunter, I'm going to take someone down.
The wolves are going to kill someone tonight. Likely, the bodyguard can't protect anyone. If they take down the hunter, the hunter can take out another villager by accident.
Tomorrow, metersk will be dictator of a village that will likely be down 2 more villagers with very few leads as to the identity of the wolves.

also, i think its pretty clear i got tim killed.

if you are in here saying you are not a wolf, but you have no idea who is, you arent really helping your case.

trust no one, but you need to create agreement on who is the most suspicious.

not to be a wet blanket here, but after accusing and murdering an innocent yesterday, I abstain from voting

I need some time to think over the past few pages (which we have!)... I would suggest everyone do the same, before we end up murdering another innocent
