HPN WW #18: SCABS WIN

There are worse ways to spend the time, but not many.

Postby compatibility mode » Tue Apr 19, 2016 9:58 am

im not evil, im just not really playing (sorry). i missed the first vote, then i saw there was a 5-5 tie with big cat/no kill getting near cutoff time and i figured why the fuck not kill the new guy.

im pretty pro-lynching by the second day unless the numbers are really tight, which others have agreed with, so, my post isnt really evil at all, its saying the same thing as everyone else (including catullus), just with the shortest amount of words.

if you get hung up on my one post, you have tunnel vision.

kill me if you want, im not really engaged and havent even looked at slack this game, but i promise it will not help team good.

also, i guess ankh changed their vote before my vote? but i honestly didnt even notice.

if the scabs had waited until the last minute to vote, and the remaining two voted no kill it is very possible there would have been a tie, then they could kill john plainman and they wouldnt have had to sacrifice one of their own.

i would look more closely at the no kills, but im not, im just gonna vote for phillipe.

I agree it is likely there is one scab in both the NK and BC voting pools, which makes the NKs look sketchy plus ankh, efreet, and grammatron.

All right, I'm not sure what compatibility mode is doing on this page, so I'm not going to change my vote at the moment, but I would like it noted that I find Phillippe very suspect and would really like to see what she is. If you're a worker, you're not a great one. I'm interested in why efreet voted for cm. Talk to us, what pushed you over the edge?

I found compat's series of posts weird. Although, he did go from a presumably safe-looking vote to something more bizarre. Switching back to philippe is sorta a self preservation move, but I would have done that too.

So for now,
phillipe,

but I wonder what geoff and grammatron have been up to.

grammatron was on the login list like 30 mins ago. dude has like 45k posts, cant spare one for ww?

efreet comes in, drops my name and bounces. if phillipe and efreet are both scabs this would be their best move since i am kind of fucking up the scent.

the choice is easy, kill me or phillipe.

if you kill me, you will feel dumb.

Ronnie Balloon stares longingly at a framed photograph of his beloved Eunice, gone almost a year now. She was always so good at reading people and helping poor, dumb Ronnie make smart decisions when it came to union matters. In another time, she would've been the one out there on the picket line. But in this day and age, it wasn't meant to be. She was going to stay home and raise their family. Of course, it turned out Ronnie was shooting blanks, so that never panned out the way they'd hoped. He sighs loudly.

"Philippe has been very shifty," Ronnie thinks. He hates the thought of losing a loyal member of the union if he's wrong, but without the muscle to help make decisions, what choice do the workers have?

With the vote outcome this clear we're going to wrap up a little early.

Image

"Please, step into my office, Checkers."

Panting, and excited tail wagging.

"Sit."

"BARK!"

"There's been some concern about your loyalty to the union."

"WOOF!"

"A lot of us think you're a scab."

"ARF!"

"Even more of us think you're spying on us at the behest of Vice President Nixon."

"GRRRRR!"

"I dunno, it just seems like the sort of thing he might do in the future. Anyway, you're out of the union. Scram!"

Checkers whimpers plaintively, but it is to no avail.

PHILLIPE has been kicked out of the union. She was Vice President Nixon's favorite poochie. She was also AN ORDINARY FACTORY WORKER.

Night 4 begins now and ends when LB and/or I receive night action requests and are physically able to post them.

UH OH

The suited, ominous, badly accented toughs corner their next blackmail target.

"Hey, we know what you really are. If you know what's good for you, you'll abandon the str-"

"can we do regular ol' boarding in here or does it have to be all some sick twisted fucked up game(s)"

"What are you even talking about?"

"i think i'm gonna do some normal boarding in here when i get the chance"

"Now look here, chum, we're trying to blackmail you and you keep inter--"

"i think we should use this space to spitball what the rules for this subforum should be as a community

i'm talkin' friendly and open dialog here

i'm talkin' puttin' it out there and hashin' it out"

"Oh Gee Whiz would you go suck an e--"

"you took from me my threads..."

"Look, just move along, pally. We're shutting this strike down, and if you get in our way, well, something's gonna happen to you."

"i mean, i suppose i feel somewhat responsible for this since bread seems to have gotten it in her mind that badhat is not the only person to have ever banned me from hipinion

bread, if you're reading this, please let me know what i can do to help you"

"Oh SHUT. UP."

Gunshots.

GEOFF has been killed by the blackmailing scabs out of their frustration with him. He has, however, still only been banned by Badhat and never by Bread. He was THE SLOKRA and thus the Scabs get a bonus blackmail.
