WW#20: Tinker, Tailor, Werewolf, Spy - WOLFPACK WINS

There are worse ways to spend the time, but not many.

You guys clearly put effort into it but the village was loaded with passengers and net negatives. You are both good at this game but it, well "takes a village".

I wanted it to be discoverable, but I felt like it was being manipulated and ultimate was more trouble than it was worth. Pierrot quitting ghost chat in a huff basically sealed the deal.

i sent you screenshots of my conversation with philippe where she deduced on her own that i could/should be lynched, and a wolf cast the first vote for me

i did want to help the village because i felt in my heart that they needed a boost, but ignoring that, how was my play supposed to differ for trying to get night killed

you're absolutely right in that it became unfun

my plan for the record was to get lynched d1 since it's always a no kill anyway and then leave the thread forever

I am in intensive outpatient therapy and that's why I late voted or missed votes. It wasn't strategy. I was wolf, yes, but I wasn't lying about that. Please do not be a dick about this. I'm recovering after being in the hospital for being suicidal and ww has been able to get my mind off things.

great minion/great wolf team

the wolves almost definitely would have won no matter what, they were all at the top of their game

Any hidden role game needs to be balanced way toward the village side.

Mason+Minion on top of that is just absurd. Was the fact that there were 3 masons knowable to anyone outside of the masons? How would you have come across that information before it was too late?

Just ridiculous
There were no checks against the abilities you gave the wolves

in pure ludic terms, I'm opposed to hidden roles or hidden rules

and I don't think rules/roles should be open to interpretation or require divination of any kind

that's a philosophical thing, though, I guess

john plainman wrote:photographer is so overpowered

I mean one check against the photographer's power is to not scan the game's most controversial figure who was also the most prominent player in the previous game

Village never had a chance with a mason that is also the minion. It's inexplicable. I'm not MAD though

The minion/mason thing was broken and I don't think there's really any logical argument against it.

Lynching stakeout was insane though, it was clear at that point that 90% of the village was no paying attention.

Palmer was saying Casimir was only approached by one player the whole game. You can't win as a complacent village.

also, people who register and post twice in the course of a game are a real drag on the village

can people not do that (absent unforeseen real-life stuff, obv)

They had no real tools to use. I would've just thrown up my hands too. You can't logically work anything out.

I told pretty much anyone who asked there were 3 masons. I told stakeout there were 2 other masons like an hour into the game.
