palmer eldritch wrote:adamtrask - has to exclusively say nice things about other players — Had to compliment at least three people per day.
ampersand - can't say the letter e
ankh - be flirty — This was actually "Player's choice", so you only have Ankh to blame.
catullus - guessing restrictions
dragons - has to share things said to her privately — Once per day, not everything, as some believed.
duke - All posts had to contain a 2 in the minutes field.
fuckles - can't say wolf or any variation more than ONCE per game
geoff - talk like a caveman — Technically had to score all communication at third grade reading comprehension via Flesch Kincaid.
grammatron - — Had to accuse one player a day. I had intended for this to be more of a direct accusation, not linked to voting, per se, but I wasn't clear enough, so gramma probably got off easy.
lame sayings - can only vote to break a tie — Must get permission to vote for someone.
laserblast - the selfie queen
lordofdiapers - Retract votes count as lynch votes. No way to actually retract.
metersk - can't say villager or any variation more than ONCE per game
mr. science - follows orders with divine protection
mudd - has to react/respond to everything — Had to have last word in all private communication. I'll give you this one.
pierrot - cannot say wolf, minion, seer, or villager
stakeout - refer to self in second person
surly - the emoji queen
ted pikul - has to leave slack rooms
terrific bedwetter - posts translated english to mandarin to english
tue - can't say numbers
universe - must not break character
— Specifically, he had to play as if he were a real villager from Shitte Towne.
vhb - the rhyme machine — First player named each day phase was the lynch vote.
wendy bird - Had to invite someone to any private room within 3 hours of being invited themselves.

So I actually cast a phantom vote for Uni on Day 1 despite appearing not to vote at all and voted for Metersk the next to last day when it looked like I was voting for Ankh.

Trying to avoid giving that away and avoid accidentally voting for myself, a dead player, or anyone whose post I quoted, was fun.

LOD, you could've had similar fun with yours and I'm sad you didn't get to pull off a trick shot with it. YOu shoulda been a wolf with that one :)

So many people played so well in this game, in addition to coming up with creative ways around their curses and even turning some of them into advantages.

Obviously I had fun being thrown into the briar patch I feel like I was born in, werewolf wise, and I'm glad so many other people got into it. Some of Surly's workarounds to the emoji thing were wonderful. Trying to be his interpreter was fun! Would've liked to have done it genuinely instead of as a cynical wolf, but, eh, whadya gonna do.

Lame Sayings revealing that he was faking (too) put a big smile on my face.

Wendybreadbridge as a mason with access to log posting and anon emails is the stuff of my nightmares. :)

Pierrot being allowed to say Mason (but no other role name) and seemingly collecting a bounty if he tricked someone into saying it is one of my long time werewolf role dream ideas becoming real and I enjoyed every minute of it. Well except the bit where you were on to me as a wolf, which is always nerve wracking when you actually are one. Though rhyming back at me was a nice twist.

I should post the log from the other night where TUE (who was also on to me, and thus got him the distinction of being the final night kill) started interrogating me also exclusively in rhyme. So much fun.

Me too.

It was really good Public Leading Voice of the Village stuff.

You ALMOST got night killed for this, too, just because it was so leader-y.

Yep, that was how my curse worked.

By naming metersk first, i actually voted for him, regardless of appearances.

Even though it looked like i voted for ankh because i put his name in red. That didn't count. Because I also could not retract.

I was definitely trying to save that surprise for a trick shot (invisibly cause or break a tie to save a wolf or doom a villager, ideally on the final day where it'd be too late for anyone to do anything about me doing something so blatantly wolfy).

I also cast a phantom vote for Uni on day 1 when i translated Surly's vote. Even though I appeared not to cast a vote at all.

Also, had this post occurred in the game, I would've voted for you, because i quoted your post, thanks to that "fuckles wrote" preamble, for example.

All other days I avoided naming any player (including dead ones) until I was ready to vote, and I usually started my first post of the day with a name in red (so my true vote would look like a normal vote and be for the same person). Once someone was named and I made sure it was the person I actually wanted to vote for I could call all of you by name or quote you all I wanted.

The rhyming bullshit was always meant to be obvious so nobody would look for my real curse. (Also the more I did it the more fun and even easier/more habitual it became).

When Luke first posted the premise, I had a theory we'd win some sort of immunity or extra kill for our team if we correctly guessed someone else's curse, or get eliminated ourselves if we guessed wrong (which is why we were told before the start we each would have to keep ours a secret).

The rhymes were going to be a trap for anyone thinking I was an easy guess.
