Anybody have a good agent to recommend for apartment rentals? i'm looking for a new place starting april 1 and going it on my own (craigslist/domu/walking around and looking for 'for rent' signs) is not working out well. acceptable neighborhoods: wicker park, bucktown, logan square, andersonville.

Logan Square is generally cheap. Rogers Park is cheap but you live way north. Avoid Lakeview or anything near the Loop. Parts of Wicker Park are cheap, but most are not. Roscoe Village is generally a good bet for something mid-range.

I was gonna say, are you still here?! You really have to use Apartment People in conjunction with craigslist, Reader listings, and random walks around a neighborhood you like. Or just wait until the winter to move, and then everything is cheap.
